Job Title: Sourcing Manager

Report to: Regional Sourcing Director
Subordination: 5-10 buyers
Responsibilities: For Sourcing Manager the responsibility is to develop, drive and deliver the results expected from professional supply management through a trained and qualified purchasing organization located close to the process.
Driving, Adapting and Deploying a Strategy for the sourcing activities that maximizes the best use of resources, through consolidation of a Process led organization in line with the global targets and objectives deployed from Hydro Business.Working closely with the Operation Managing Director/Project Directors/Managers to achieve a fast and clear implementation of the Sourcing Strategy as well as standard Industrial schemes.Managing the professional and constructive relationship with both Internal and External clients/suppliers.Deploys & drives the Supplier performance monitoring processes, that ensure transparency in suppliers selection in phase with global suppliers strategy.Deploys the Global sourcing tools that will ensure visibility to sourcing activity management.Manages the day-to-day Projects and Function reporting needed for Sourcing.Supports Commodity / Project Buyers for critical negotiation and issuesDeploys & drives operating procedures to ensure that sourcing within the plant is buying against the most effective supply contracts, supply framework agreement, standard terms and conditions and ALSTOM Power led agreements. Escalates any disputes regarding selection of suppliers to the Regional Sourcing Director for arbitration. Commodity / Project buyers will have to respect Suppliers qualified list, any deviation from this will have to be agreed up front between Regional Sourcing Director and Operation Managing Director and the Global Sourcing Director.Ensuring that appropriate but no duplication of resources exists in the plant.Follows-up and drives all procurement needs based on a yearly procurement plan.Manages the resource loading in accordance with this procurement plan.
Requirement:
